Five minutes from the Balcon de Europa, on calle Jaén, is the Andrea Inn where you can enjoy a wide range of tasty tapas and a refreshing drink.

There is even a small terrace where you can catch a few rays while you watch the world go by.

The Andrea Inn is run by Marianne and Freddy, originally from Belgium but long time residents of Nerja.

A warm, friendly atmosphere makes it a great place for a lunchtime tapa, an evening out or a celebration, and at prices that won’t break the bank.

Some will remember Marianne from the Peña Coches de Caballos, or Horseman’s Bar as it was affectionately known, which was located in the car park behind the Mercadona supermarket on the rio Chillar riverbed.

Unfortunately, the bar had to go to make way for the new Health Centre. Fortunately, Marianne was able to find a new home, The Andrea Inn.

Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 23:00 (or later!)

Closed on Sundays.
